Want to know exactly what keywords and targeting angles your competitors are using to hook customers on Facebook? You do not need to guess. The FB Ad & Competitor Analyzer is designed to scan competitor websites, extract key copy assets, and suggest low-competition target interests.
Here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to use it for your business.
Step 1: Scrape the Competitor's Content
First, we need to extract the raw copywriting assets of your competitor. Navigate to the Data Input page in your dashboard:
- Find a competitor's blog, product landing page, or Facebook post copy.
- Paste the URL directly into the Link Scraper input bar (e.g.,
https://competitor.com/best-seller). - Click Fetch Text. The system will automatically scrape and populate the text editor with all content.
- Assign a title to identify this scan (e.g., "Competitor Eco Bottle Landing Page") and click Add Post to save it to your database.
Step 2: Run Keyword & Theme Extraction
Now, let's analyze the text structure. Navigate to the Keyword Extraction tab:
- Select the competitor post you just saved from the dropdown menu.
- The AI will instantly list the top keywords, their density, and their sentiment score.
- Look for terms labeled with a "Positive / Aspirational" sentiment. These are the copy hooks your competitor uses to make buyers feel good about purchasing.
Step 3: Uncover Hidden Audience Interests
This is where you save on ad costs. Navigate to the Audience Interests tab:
- Select your competitor scan and hit analyze.
- The dashboard will generate a list of 10-15 highly specific interest terms recognized by Facebook's ad manager, along with their audience size.
- Avoid targeting the largest broad interests (e.g., "Shopping"). Instead, copy the niche long-tail interests (e.g., "Zero Waste Lifestyle" or "Eco-friendly retail") directly into your Meta Ads Manager targeting field.
Create two ad sets in Facebook. Set Ad Set A to target a broad interest like "Fitness". Set Ad Set B to target the niche competitor interests revealed by the Analyzer. Run them with a $5/day budget and compare the cost per lead after 3 days.
